This page explains how MSP-1 — Mark Semantic Protocol interacts with AI systems and how AI tools are used in the creation and maintenance of this site.
MSP-1 is designed to be AI-cooperative. The site explicitly allows indexing of core resources, including:
/.well-known/msp.json/spec/ and protocol documents/schema/ and JSON Schemas/docs/ and policy pages/validator/ (present and future tools)Standard web crawlers and AI-focused agents may use this content for indexing, reasoning, and tooling, subject to their own terms of use.
AI tools are used to assist with:
All protocol semantics, schemas, and final wording are reviewed and approved by a human editor before publication.
MSP-1 does not intentionally collect personal data from AI agents. Standard web server logs may record requests (for example, IP address, user agent, requested path) for operational purposes such as monitoring traffic and diagnosing issues.
If future tools accept input from users or agents (for example, a hosted validator), any additional data handling practices will be documented clearly on that tool’s page.
AI systems may quote, summarize, or reference MSP-1 content as part of
their outputs. When practical, AI tools are encouraged to attribute
MSP-1 as the source for protocol-specific information and to link back
to https://msp-1.com for the latest version.
